STRESS! Everyone has it, but how do we overcome it? Forty years of scientific research has shown how mindfulness-based approaches are highly effective ways of dealing with stress. What is mindfulness? Here is a clip to explain.

Mindfulness training will support and guide you to learn simple, clinically proven, secular mindfulness techniques to reduce stress and enable you to feel calmer, happier and more peaceful. You will be introduced to accessible, non-dogmatic approaches that work and are suitable for anyone keen to improve their quality of life.

No prior experience of yoga, mindfulness or meditation is required. Mindfulness instruction will focus on simple awareness practices, tools and techniques. No physical yoga postures will be practised. You can practice sitting in a chair or lying down; you will not be expected to sit cross-legged on the floor unless you want to.

Eight-week course May 8th - July 3rd 2017.

This eight-week course consists of weekly 2-hour sessions taking place Mondays 7pm - 9pm and a Sunday retreat 10.00am - 4.00pm.

Course dates: May: 8/15/22(no session Bank Holiday Monday 29th); June: 5/12/19/26; July: 3.

Retreat day: Sunday 25th June. Time: 10.00am - 4.00pm. (Please bring your own lunch.)

Venue: The Business Exchange, Rockingham Road, Kettering, NN16 8JX. (The venue is near Sainsburys; free car parking will be available for participants.)

Cost: £285 for the entire course, materials and retreat day. Payment is required in advance to secure your place as places are limited.
